Rachel's Best Cornerstone Story
I am always amazed to see how much of an impact good planning can have over the course of several years. When we started working with a particular client, the client requested that we develop a way to provide equality to his kids who were not active in the business as well as a mechanism to transfer the family business to those who are active in the business. By utilizing sophisticated estate and business planning techniques, we were able to remove significant growth from his estate. Initially, the removal from the estate was slightly over $2 million. Now, 15 years later, that $2 million has grown to be over $30 million removed from his estate.

In 2016 Rachel became a shareholder of Cornerstone. In November 2019, she was promoted to President and CEO of Cornerstone Advisors – this role makes her responsible for the next phase of growth and client development. Rachel’s success in her current role was built through her dedication to her clients and various roles she has held over the course of her work experience. From managing a client service team, to becoming seasoned in client development, and now President and CEO, she is well-versed in all aspects and obstacles that might occur with insurance and estate plans.

Rachel has created long-term relationships with clients and advisors by being proactive to ensure the plans developed continue to meet the objectives of clients. In addition to her great knowledge, clients and their advisors enjoy Rachel's positive attitude and energetic personality, which helps her make a challenging process easy for all involved. Her impact also applies to growing and developing the Cornerstone team and creating a work culture that values engagement, work-life balance and growth aligned to each individual.
